Distinguishing himself in the areas of commercial real estate, condominium law and zoning, and after a career of more than forty-five years of representing developers, sellers, purchasers and lenders in complex commercial transactions, Herbert Krasow is now “of counsel” to the firm. He currently serves on a regular basis as an arbitrator with respect to commercial disputes for various Alternative Dispute Resolution organizations, including the American Arbitration Association. In addition, Herb is often called upon as an expert witness in legal disputes relating to commercial real estate, zoning and land use matters in State and Federal Courts.

He previously served as a member of several Connecticut Law Revision Commission study groups which were instrumental in legislative changes to Connecticut real estate law. He has been named one of America’s Leading Business Lawyers by Chambers USA, and has been consistently named among the Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White, Inc.), and as a Connecticut and New England “Super Lawyer” in the field of Real Estate. He continues to be a member of the Connecticut and Hartford Bar Associations, the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and various other professional organizations. He is also an Emeritus Member of the Real Property Section Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association.
